Virginia H. O'Brien

Virginia (Ginny) O’Brien born 8/22/1955 to Garland and Julia O’Brien in Baltimore. She flew to Jesus on 2/4/20 after a long illness surrounded by her family.

After high school she graduated from Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a BA in recreational therapy. Ginny worked in several nursing homes around Baltimore.

She loved the residents and would bend over backwards to make them feel welcome and loved. In her spare time she had good times with friends and loving on kitties and doggies. Ginny discovered that she loved to cook , made soups, potato salad and other dishes for parties at her apartment building. Ginny had a beautiful soprano voice and sang at various weddings and with The Little Lee Show.

She is survived by her sister Hannah O’Brien and brother Philip Harris. Also many cousins and loving friends. A special mention to Sinai Hospital and Seasons Hospice for their excellent care. Memorial service will be held at Hiss United Methodist Church- Harford Road, Tuesday, March 3 at 11:00 AM.

Graveside services will be at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity is appreciated. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansfuneralchapel.com
