On October 16th 2020; Verlyn Lorrain Holt "Bob", of Baltimore City; proud Marine Veteran (E-9) and then retired in 1973; loving husband of the late Jessie Marie (nee Diamond) Holt; devoted father of Barbara Chlan and husband Gary, Joseph Holt (Carol); cherished grandfather of Bryan and wife Erica, Joseph Jr. and wife Jessica, Charie and Robert; dear great-grandfather of Evan, Logan, Nevyn and Everlee; caring brother in law of Rosemary Diamond; Also survived by loving family and acquaintances.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Bob's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD, 21234 on Monday, October 26th 2020 from 11-1PM. A funeral service will be held at 1PM, at Evans. Interment to follow on Thursday, 1:45PM at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
