Thomas Kramer Obituary

On July 28, 2022, Thomas Anthony Kramer, 80, of Millers, passed away peacefully; cherished father of Mark Kramer and his wife Margherita, John Paul Kramer and his wife Christine, and Nelma Ann Kramer Hann and her husband Corey; beloved grandfather of Matteo, Frederic, Rafael, Maxwell, and Lily Kramer; dear brother of the late Robert Kramer and dear brother-in-law of Marilyn Kramer; and many loving family and friends.

Born and raised in Maryland, Tom Kramer was the youngest son of Howard Anthony Kramer and Elvera Kramer (Crampton), and brother to Robert Andrew Kramer.

Tom served honorably in the Air Force from 1959 to 1963 as an airplane mechanic, completing his military career serving in the Army from 1963 to 1970 as a helicopter pilot. Tom was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two years in Vietnam achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer, and after serving in Vietnam, he was stationed in Germany for two years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, researching genealogy, and was an avid woodworker and computer enthusiast.  He was a great companion to his faithful dogs, Gunner, and late Cody. To those who loved and knew him, Tom will always be remembered as a dedicated and generous father, brother, and friend.

Family and friends will honor Tom’s life with a visitation at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 8801 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 10AM – 11AM, with service to follow at 11AM. Interment to follow at, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4430 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom’s memory to Canine Rescue of Central PA, www.crcpa.org or your preferred animal rescue.
