On August 21, 2023, Thomas Walter Harroll, Sr., 63, of Taneytown passed away. Thomas was the loving husband of Diana Lynn Harroll; devoted father of Sandra Stover & her husband Shawn, Emily Landsverk, Tommie Harroll, Jr. and the late Matthew Harroll; stepfather of Kimberly Gatewood & her husband Matt Johnson, Christopher Gatewood, and Valerie Sharps & her husband Stephan; cherished grandfather of Nick Harroll & his wife Danielle, James Eberwein, Genevieve Landsverk, Lottie Johnson, Aydin Gatewood, Ava Gatewood, Kai Gatewood, Grace Gatewood, Tino Gatewood, Draya Sharps, Deejay Sharps, and Demi Sharps; dear brother of Arlene Young.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Thomas's life at the Evans Life Celebration Home, 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at St. Ursula’s Catholic Church. Interment will be Burial at Sea at a late date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society at https://braintumor.org.
