On May 28, 2021, Salvatore "Sal" M. Pasta, 80, of Abingdon passed away the day after his 59th wedding anniversary. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Josephine Pasta (nee Keller); devoted father of Michael S. Pasta, Michele P. VanderWiele & her late husband Timothy and Joseph N. Pasta & his wife Madelene "Maddie"; cherished grandfather of Alisha, Steven, Brian, Alix, Skylar and Kathleen and the late Austin & Amanda.; brother of Pete W. Pasta, Rosalie Grace "Rose" Maurer, Antonina "Toni" Dougherty, Beatrice M. "Bea" Stoney and the late Frank "Babe" Pasta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sal was an electrician for Walter Truland Corporation for 24 years, as well as Browning Heim and Mace Electric. He was a proud member of Baltimore Local 24.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Sal's life at the Evans Life Celebration Home-Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 24 & Rt. 23), Forest Hill on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00. Interment Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance, c/o The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, 520 Upper Chesapeake Drive, Suite 405, Bel Air, MD 21014.
