Ruth Lankford Obituary

On May 11th, 2021, Ruth Naomi Lankford, 85, or Parkville, MD passed away. Beloved wife of the late George William Lankford, Jr., married for 65 years; devoted mother of Terri Lankford; loving godmother of Bonnie Lynn Herd; dear sister of Linda DeFontes, the late Robert S. Kline, Jr., and Elsa Weingard; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Ruth’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home in Parkville – 8800 Harford Road on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 from 3-5PM & 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at 11AM. A cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Baltimore County Animal Shelter mailed to at: 13800 Manor Rd, Baldwin, MD 21013
