Robert "Bob" Entwistle Obituary
On May 8, 2021, Robert (Bob) J. Entwistle of Abingdon, MD, passed away peacefully. He was the devoted husband of 45 years to Gail Entwistle, and beloved father of Jaesen Entwistle.
Bob is survived by his sisters Judy Meerdter & her husband Michael; Eileen Bond & her husband George; Susan Brown & her husband Hammond; and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Dulaney Valley High School, then served in the US Air Force from 1968-1972. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2008. During his retirement he enjoyed boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Family and friends will honor Bob’s life at the Evans Life Celebration Home- 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill with a Receiving of Friends on May 15, 2021 from 3-6 PM. There will be no interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society- P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
