Patrick Harold Cummings

Patrick "Pat" Cummings, a loving, selfless, and courageous man, died peacefully on November 17, 2023, in Forest Hill, MD, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on January 8, 1957, in Queens, New York, Pat's zest for life and unwavering positive spirit touched all who knew him. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and community.

Raised in New York, Pat was known for his infectious smile and kind heart. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was a man who put others before himself, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His courage was evident not only in his fight against cancer but also in the way he lived his life, fearlessly facing challenges with a smile on his face and hope in his heart. Patrick was one of four Cummings’ siblings, his brother Mike, and sisters Peg and Rea.

Pat's life was rich with love and family. His unwavering devotion to his wife, Cheryl, was a testament to his capacity for deep, enduring love. He was a steadfast partner and a source of strength and support throughout their marriage. Pat was also a doting father to his daughter Jacquelyn and son Ryan, and daughter-in-law Amanda. His love for them was evident through his unwavering support of their endeavors.

The joy of Pat's life was undoubtedly his grandchildren, Kaylee, and Cameron. He cherished every moment spent with them, from shared meals to quiet bedtime stories. His eyes would light up at their achievements, and his laughter was the soundtrack to their play. Pat was a pillar of strength, love, and wisdom in their lives, and his legacy will live on in their hearts.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Pat's life at Evans Life Celebration Home-Forest Hill, 3 Newport Drive on Friday November 24, 2023 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church (Fallston) on Saturday November 25, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Interment: Highview Memorial Gardens.
