Matthew Scott McHugh

On September 12, 2023; Matthew "Matt" Scott McHugh of Forest Hill;  age 60 passed away. Matt was born in Levittown, NJ, the son of Thomas McHugh and Lorraine (Cline).

He attended Cinnaminson High School and graduated from Temple University, with a B.S. in Criminal Justice where he played Football. He and his wife Stacey (Maher) married in 1996 and made their home in Forest Hill, MD. He was the Owner and President of MCQ Landscaping.

He was loved by his wife, Stacey, children Keegan and Keeley; siblings Pat Berggren (Rick) Thomas McHugh Jr., Sue Coyne, Peg McHugh; his in laws; Larry and Janet Maher, Bonnie (Maher) and Tim Birkel, Larry and Kim Maher; his nieces and nephews Meghan, Andrew, Melissa, Katie, Tim, Christopher, Michael, Sean, Cullen, Allie, Cullen, Chelsea, Ryan, Gavin and Emma; and his dogs Titan and Celtic. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Michael.

Matt enjoyed being outdoors - hunting, fly fishing, golfing, and going to the beach. He adored being alongside his wife, watching his children play sports, and spending time with his dogs.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Vignon Manor Farm -425 Darlington Road-Havre de Grace, Maryland on Sunday, October 1, 2023.  The family will receive guests from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM with the celebration immediately following.
