Mark Church Obituary

On January 23, 2020, Mark R. Church, 55, of White Hall, beloved husband of Margie C. Church; devoted son of Robert W. Church and Sandra & John Costick; cherished father of Christopher R. Church, Jason Michael Church, Justin A. Church, Fred L. Rauh, III and Jackie N. Lynam; dear brother of Kathy Kruft and Jon Church; grandfather of Lexus, Christopher and John Jason Church.

Mark was born in Tacoma Park, Maryland. He was raised in Harford County and graduated from Edgewood High School. He started a general contracting company which provided services throughout northern Maryland for over 25 years. The company evolved into a real estate management role with Mark at its helm and continues to provide housing in the Harford County community.

After being injured, he re-invented himself into a professional tractor trailer driver. He studied to become a successful tractor maintenance technician on production equipment, being shipped nationally and internationally. It gave him the opportunity to see our great country, which he loved dearly.

He missed his wife and family and desired to be closer to home and started driving locally. He was a man who took great pride in his work and family till the day he died.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Mark’s life at the Evans Life Celebration Home-Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens.

If desired, contributions may be made to the Maryland School for the Blind, 3501 Taylor Ave, Nottingham, MD 21236.
