On May 11th, 2021, Karen Ann Vallar, 56, of Parkville, MD passed away. Devoted wife of Thomas Vallar, married for 8 years; beloved daughter of Antoinette Scandaliato (nee Cimino) and the late Anthony Scandaliato; dear sister of Mary Compton and her husband Chris Compton, and the late Frank Scandaliato; loving aunt of Nicole Addair and her husband Zack Addair, and Chris Compton, Jr. and his wife Leise Compton; caring great-aunt of Cailee Compton, Sydney Addair, and Liam Addair; cherished niece of Mary German and her husband Hartford German, John Cimino, Lorraine Cimino, and Donna Cimino; also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Karen’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home in Parkville – 8800 Harford Road on Monday, May 17th, 2021 from 3-5 & 7-9PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel church on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at 11AM. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
