On September 19th, 2022; John Schmidt, Jr.; loving husband of Emma Schmidt; devoted father of Norman Whiteley, Jr. and wife Kristen, Brenda Lockner and husband Dwayne, and the late John Schmidt and Patty Hudson; cherished grandfather of David, Nikki, Jennifer, Amanda, Melissa, and Robert; great grandfather of 14 great-grandchildren; caring brother of Susan Dimond and Jerry Schmidt; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Roy's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234, on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from 10-12 PM. A funeral service will be held following visitation, at 12 PM. Cremation to follow all services.
