On May 25, 2021, John Pasqual, Jr. of Bel Air, passed away. He was the loving husband of the late Angela Marie Pasqual; devoted father of John Pasquale, III and Paul Pasqual & his wife Barbara; cherished grandfather of Lexi Pasqual, dear son of the late John and Mary Pasquale; brother of Mary Elizabeth Labin and the late Tony Pasqual, Joe Pasquale and James Pasqual.
John was an icon at Perry Hall High School that will be remembered by thousands of his students, athletes, and coworkers alike. He began teaching in the Industrial Arts department at Perry Hall in the early 1960s. His love for education was only surpassed by his passion for coaching. He retired from teaching in the mid-1990s but continued to be a part of the athletics department until just a few years ago. We don’t think there was ever a time that we went out in public and he was not recognized by a former student. It has always made me proud to see just how excited his former students are to see him and to hear their (often hilarious) stories of him. When he wasn’t at school, he could be found at one of his two other favorite places - Jones Family Farm or Bill's Seafood. John is one of the few people that we have known to be genuinely satisfied with the life that he lived. He had said on several occasions that he took great pride in all of his accomplishments and had no regrets in his 94 years. We should all be so lucky to be able to reflect on our lives in such a way.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate John’s life at the Evans Life Celebration Home-Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4-8 P.M. where a Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Perry Hall High School Athletic Department, 4601 Ebenezer Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236.
