John Raver Obituary

On August 1, 2022, John Lester Raver, 64, of Parkton, passed away; cherished deer slaying father of Stephanie “Nen” Lang and her husband Christopher, and Emily “Stumpy” Reininger and her husband Josh; beloved Pop Pop of George, Julie, Aubrey, Brantley, Lauralie, Daniel, and Wade; dear brother of Robin Raver Cornett and Wendy Raver; crazy uncle Johnny of Michael Cornett, Corey Pippin, Christian Pippin, and Priscilla DelMoral; and many loving family and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate John’s life at, Evans Life Celebration Home – Hereford, 16924 York Road, Monkton, MD 21111, with a visitation Friday, August 5, 2022, from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Grace Falls Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1804 Ridge Road, Reisterstown, MD, 21136.

*No fancy clothes are to be worn, per John’s final request!
