On December 27th, 2021, John “Larry” L. Bortz, 69, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Sandi Bortz, married for 32 years; loving son of the late Francis and Katherine (Garber) Bortz; devoted father of Jamie Bortz and his partner Bobby Jones, and Ron Bragg and his wife Casey Bragg; caring grandfather of Devin, Laila, and Mia Bragg; dear brother of Peter Bortz and his wife Carmen, Claudia Bortz, Kathy Meerdink, Mike Andress and his wife Beverly, and the late Wayne Bortz and Chris Bortz; also survived by many loving family and friends.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Larry’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home in Forest Hill, MD – 3 Newport Drive with a receiving of friends on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 from 5-7PM. A Memorial Service will follow at 7PM.
An additional celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022.
