Ingegard Rita Demastus

On April 15, 2020, Ingegard Rita Demastus, 61, of Upper Falls, MD passed away. She was the loving daughter of Walter & Heldi Steck; beloved wife of Chris Demastus; devoted mother of Stephanie Phillips & her husband Lee and Christopher Klag & his wife Vonja; cherished grandmother of Karissa Phillips, Kasen Brooks, Aiden Phillips and Dominick Klag; dear sister of Dieter Steck & his wife Lucy, Dave Steck & his wife Alice, Roose Baade & her husband Alan, Nancy Vish & her husband Skip, Joey Strinic & his wife Kathy, Walter Steck, Jr. & his wife Theresa; predeceased by her sisters, Erika Desell and Renate Caggiano. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will honor & celebrate Inga Rita Demastus’ life on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 with a Memorial Service beginning at 1:30 PM at the New Life Baptist Church- 5501 Lloyd Ave., White Marsh, MD 21162. If you may wish to do so, please send all flowers to Alice Steck - 2428 Edwards Manor Rd, Forest Hill, MD 21050 no later than 3 PM on Saturday, July 11th. Alice will be transporting all delivered flowers to the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cholangio Foundation (team name The Tumornators).
