Geraldine Hood Obituary
On September 12th, 2022; Geraldine R. Hood, of Nottingham MD; loving wife of the late Mack Love Hood; devoted mother of Michael Hood and wife Debra, Joan Hood-Jones, Peggy Hood, Tom Hood and wife Debbie, David Hood and wife Barbara; cherished grandma of Michael, Gregory, Kelly, Jessica, Allie, Dan, Tom, Sara, Beth, Steven, Katie, Jacob, Jarret, and Jamie; dear great grandma (GeeGee) of 18 great-grandchildren; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Jerry’s priority was her family and taking care of others. She loved them all dearly. She loved to tap dance, travel, gamble at the casinos, dance the jitterbug, travel with her girlfriends from Philadelphia, and swim in the ocean. She was a proud graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame, an avid ravens fan and dog lover. She loved life and lived it to its fullest.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Geraldine's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 3 Newport Drive, Forest Hill MD, 21050, on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, at 1 PM at St. Joseph Fullerton Catholic Church, on Bel Air Road. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Fullerton Church Cemetery.
