On June 23rd, 2022; Elizabeth “Betty” Waibel, of Parkville MD; loving wife of the late August “Augie” Waibel; devoted mother of Stacey Waibel and husband Edward Durkee, William “Bill” Waibel and wife Lynda Waibel, Michael Waibel and wife Beth Waibel; beloved GrandBetty of Brendan, Will, John, Paige, Tom, and Lauren; caring daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Tilghman; dear sister of the late William “Bucky” Tilghman, Robert “Bobby” Tilghman and Dolores “Dolly” Thommen; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Betty’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home – 16924 York Road, Monkton MD 21111, on Monday, June 27th, 2022, from 4-7 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment Private.
