Derek Little

Derek Scott Little of Parkville / Timonium Md., passed away on June 26, 2023, from work-related injuries.

 He is survived by the love of his life: Kaytee Burns, their son: Logan Matthew Little, parents: Tracie and Walter Little, brother: Douglas Little and family: Megan, Alaynah, and Aiden, Grandfather: Robert Carr, aunts: Ginger Lucas and Lynn Dieterle, uncle: Jim Dieterle and cousins Lisa, Matt, Ryan, Wyatt & Jake. He is pre-deceased by, grandmother: Barbara Carr, grandfather: Walter J. Little, grandmother: Ann Little.

Derek was born on May 11, 1995, and grew up in Parkville Maryland. He graduated from Parkville high school and started his work career. He was a hard-working man from early on. 

Derek had a love for sports, especially Orioles baseball and golf.  He also loved civil war history and volunteered with Veterans. Derek was a kindhearted, goofy, lovable young man who never missed a chance to make you laugh. He loved his family and friends and was looking forward to being a dad.

He will be deeply missed, but not forgotten.

Evans Life Celebration will be holding a celebration of life for Derek on Sunday, July 2, from 3 PM-6 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023, beginning at 10 AM -8800 Harford Rd., Parkville, MD 21234- with the burial to immediately follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens - 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium, Md.  21093.
