On January 11th, 2021, Deborah “Debbie” Ann Beck, age 58, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Jerome and Marie Beck; loving sister of Theresa Wydra & her husband Phil, Marie Pedri & her husband Steve, James Beck & his wife Cara Moulds, Katherine Hudak & her husband Tim, and Barbara Trentler & her husband Matt; cherished aunt of Thomas Wydra & his wife Kristin, Daniel Wydra & his girlfriend Amy Johnston, Dominic Pedri & his fiancé Courtney Renee, Matthew Pedri, Christopher Hudak, Sophia Hudak, Ryan Carr & his wife Brittney, Liam Beck, Nate Trentler, and Nick Trentler; loving great-aunt of Aubrey, Austin, and Aria Wydra; also survived by many family and friends.
Debbie was a local master hair stylist for over 40 years, exceptionally talented with longtime loyal clients who booked six months ahead of schedule. She owned Chique Studios in Perry Hall for 15 years and worked at Giocchino's Salon for many years. More than an artist and craftsman with her tools, she was a counselor and friend to clients who sat in her chair. She was a great listener, caring deeply about her clients. She also mentored new stylists and held high expectations for customer service and teamwork in the salons.
She enjoyed good times out with friends. Her high energy, bright smile and great sense of humor made her the life of the party.
She looked forward to vacationing, especially with her niece and nephews, who were the light of her life. She lived for them. She took them all under her wing, mentored them with such wisdom. They admired her for her strength and moral compass, and confided in her for advice.
She was a strong, independent woman who lived life on her own terms. Even through years of battling cancer, she was always optimistic, focused on the positive, living life to the fullest.
All who knew her felt truly loved by her. She embodied a life well-lived.
