On February 11, 2021, David Michael DeVries Sr., 60, of Fallston, passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer; devoted husband of 37 years to Karlea Ann DeVries (nee Schulze); cherished father of David DeVries Jr., Karlea Siford and husband Tim, and the late Daniel DeVries; adoring Pop Pop of Ryder and Grayson; loving brother of MaryBeth DeVries Flowers and husband Will; beloved son of the late Max and Sharon DeVries; and son-in-law to Robert C. Schulze and the late Jeannette T. Schulze(née Knapp); and many loving family and friends.
David was a loyal employee at Maaco for 38 years and was an avid collector of classic cars and trains. He was a family man who loved being able to support his family and provide them everything they could want or need.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate David’s life at the Evans Life Celebration Home – Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23&Rt. 24). Forest Hill, on Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 10-12PM and 2-4PM, with a service beginning at 3PM. ***Due to the expected inclement weather on Thursday, David's services were rescheduled for Saturday, making the service dates printed in the Sun and Aegis incorrect.
