Charles E. Beares

On Thursday March 5, 2020 Charles Edward Beares age 93 of Freeland.  Charles served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.  He was the beloved husband of the late Pearl Katherine (nee Spicer) Beares of sixty years.  Devoted father of Katherine Ackerman, Virginia Beares, the late Charles Edward Beares, Jr., the late Lester E. Beares, Sr. and the late Evelyn Boggs.  Grandfather of the Charles Ackerman, Jr., Lester E. Beares, Jr., Connie N. Beares, Adrian M. Beares and the late Carissa A. Ackerman.  Great Grandfather of Hunter Alt, Christopher Ackerman, Paige Alt, Gavin Alt, Bailey Alt, the late Kylie Sullivan, and the late Cody Sullivan.     

Family and friends will honor Charles’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. – Hereford), on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held 11AM Tuesday. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens with U.S. Navy Military Honors.
