Born on September 4, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Esten (nee Gerdelmann). A graduate of Little Flower High School, Cass grew up in Philadelphia, PA with her brother Joseph Esten who predeceased her and is survived by her beloved sister, Ann Spiecker, She married Alphonse Wissman, who passed away in 1993 and they raised five children, her sons, Al (Nelly), of Parkton, MD, Dave (Pam), of Reisterstown, MD and Tim (Alison), of Adelaide, Australia, and her daughters, Cathy (Michael) Pressimone, of Mohnton, PA, and Louise (Bill) Flynn, of Wilmington, DE. She was a wonderful friend and a lifelong gracious volunteer, helping at Our Daily Bread, Mission of Mercy and many other service programs through her church and community. Her door was always open to neighbors and friends with a welcoming smile and a delightfully sarcastic wit. Her smile was always welcoming and her laughter quick and hearty. Cass understood the value of hard work and tenacity. She gave, and rew her strength from her large family and dedicated every effort to their well-being. Cass was willing to open her heart to those in need and offer her cooking, personal care, chauffeuring or company wherever she saw need.
