Carl Edward Wyatt of Whiteford, Maryland went to be with the Lord on Monday June 6, 2022.  Carl was born on March 10,1932 in Grassy Creek, North Carolina to the late Dottie (Sheets) Wyatt and James Wyatt.  Carl is survived by his two children, Wanda Holdsworth (Dave) of Whiteford and Alan Wyatt Sr (Brenda) of Delta, Pennsylvania.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Chrissie Ruppel (Scott), Tracie Testerman, Melanie Riecke (Matt), Stephen Holdsworth, Amanda Gross, Alan Wyatt Jr (Jennifer), and Gregory Wyatt. Carl is survived by eleven great-grandchildren Haley Sellet (Zach), Cole Ruppel, Jacob White, Zachary White, Kiersten Riecke, Shawn Riecke, Paisley Gross, Alina Chambers, Avery Wyatt, Kennedy Wyatt, and Greyson Wyatt.  Carl is also survived by his siblings Jessie Wyatt (Jean) of Whiteford, Maryland,  Roy Wyatt ( Marlene), Fannie Taylor and Shirley Jane Gentry all of West Jefferson, North Carolina.

Carl was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Naomi (Sizemore) Wyatt who went to be with Jesus on November 13, 2003, and his son Gary Wyatt that went with her on April 15, 2010. Carl was also preceded in death by a grand daughter, Amy Lynn Wyatt, brothers Cad Wyatt, Hobart Wyatt, Bernard Wyatt, and a sister Cleo Bare.

Carl came to Maryland from North Carolina in search of work and started working at the Bata Shoe company and then on to the Bainbridge Naval Base. He took a job at Aberdeen Proving Ground in the sheet metal shop where he retired in 1987 and made many lifelong friends.

Carl had a love for the Lord first and foremost and was a member of Sharon Freewill Baptist Church for over 50 years.  Carl was and avid hunter and loved hunting with his two sons Gary and Alan and grandson A.J. He would hunt just about anything from groundhogs to deer to varmints and even did two big game hunts with his sons.  Carl was also a snake hunter and got to experience the trip of his lifetime to go to Sweetwater, Texas for the Rattlesnake Roundup.

Above all, Carl had a kind spirit that touched everyone who he ever met. We were blessed to have had him for 90 short years and now Heaven has him for eternity.

A public viewing will be held Friday June 10, 2022, from 5-7pm at Evans Funeral Chapel located at 3 Newport Drive Forest Hill, MD 21050 with a service on Saturday at 10:00am and he will be laid to rest at Union Chapel Cemetery in Delta, PA beside his beautiful bride, Naomi.
