On March 16, 2022; Beverly G. Brown, 88 of Parkville, Maryland; beloved wife of the late Tommy B. Brown; loving daughter of the late Charles “Buck” and Lillian Heline; devoted mother of Gail Hale and her husband John, Curt Stillwaugh and his wife Linda Mayfield, Niccole Dingus and her husband Michael and Craig Stillwaugh; loving grandmother of David Hale and his wife Michelle and Amanda Hale; great grandmother of Audrey Marie Hale and Claire Josephine Hale; sister to the late Albert Heline, Anna (Heline) Davis, Lillian “Sis” (Heline) Davis, Robert Heline and Walter Heline; aunt to nieces and nephews Dawn, Kevin, Sandra, Gary, Douglas and Cheryl.
Beverly grew up and lived in West Baltimore during the 30’s and the World War II era. She fondly spoke of her years at her parents’ home: Hanging around town with her sisters and brothers, their friends and her niece Dawn; Her father a vegetable purveyor walking down the street on his way home, with a large stalk of bananas over his shoulder that he shared with the neighborhood kids; Her brother Walter’s service in the Army 29th Infantry and her parents opening their home to house soldiers overnight whom she recounted could be found sleeping in the dining and living rooms in the morning.
Beverly and her family attended Christ Lutheran Church in downtown Baltimore. Later she resided at her parents’ home in the Hamilton section of Baltimore where they attended Grace Lutheran Church. Beverly eventually worked and enjoyed years of service until retirement at Grace Lutheran Church and their Children’s Day Care Center. Her family of children greatly expanded with her work at the day care center. Her experiences with the church and children enriched her life. For the past several years Beverly and Tom attended services at Calvary Lutheran Church. Beverly was a caring Mother who worked tirelessly during the early years of her children's lives, along with her husband of 51 years Tom (our beloved father), to provide us with love and guidance throughout our lives. They continued that same care and love for their grandchildren and great grandchildren from their home in Parkville, Maryland. Beverly will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church: 2625 E Northern Parkway (corner of) Old Harford Rd on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 12:00 noon.
