Bae Sung Yang, a devout family man and well-respected business owner, died peacefully on November 6, 2023, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in 1939 in South Korea, he left his homeland to carve out a successful life in the United States. His entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as the proprietor of a popular carryout food business.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hwa Yang, sons Sung Chul Yang (Stacy) and Sung Hwan Yang (Minkyung Koo), grandchildren June-Won, Matthew, Ashley, Ryan and Jasmine, and his brothers, Choon Bok Yang and Choon Ho Yang.

Mr. Yang was known for his love of judo in his younger years, and for enjoying the daily ritual of reading the newspaper, closely following current events. His life was marked by dedication to his family, tenacity in his work, and a voracious appetite for knowledge. His legacy will live on through the family and community he loved so dearly.

Family and friends will honor Bae Sung's life with a Funeral service on Saturday, November 11, 2023, beginning at 10:00am, with a Life Celebration and Visitation immediately following the Service. Family and friends can arrive slightly before 10:00am, to the Evans Life Celebration Home at 8800 Harford Road in Parkville, MD, to be seated for the service. He will be laid to rest at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens- 200 E. Padonia Rd. Timonium, MD 21093.
