Anna Marie (Cuccia) Zwickert

Anna Marie Zwickert, 92 of New York, New York, via way of Monkton, Maryland, passed unexpectedly with her daughter at her side, on November 16, 2021, at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Anna was the beloved mother of Marie Regina Zwickert, her husband Robert Henry Young and the late Thomas Joseph Zwickert, Jr.   She was the devoted grandmother "Zwickie" of Kara Nicole Young and Andrew Robert Young; step grandmother of Kelli Anne Bausch; great grandmother of Mikie William Richard Bausch, II., and Kayden Leni Bausch.

Anna was born on June 11, 1929, in New York City, to Andrew and Victoria Cuccia.

Anna worked in the fashion industry at the clothing store Loehmann’s, until she retired.

Anna prioritized caring for her family members, as well as people in her community. She exemplified this caring attitude by being a lunch mom in the Bergen County Public Schools after retirement. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, dancing, watching Jimmy Stewart movies, as well as listening to the music of Frank Sinatra.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at Eleven AM, at St Joseph’s Parish in Cockeysville, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Anna’s memory.
