Anna Cooper

On December 5, 2022 Anna Cooper (nee Marron) passed away peacefully in her home.  Beloved wife of the late James L. Cooper Jr., devoted mother of Beverly A. Daniels and her husband Larry, James J. Cooper and his wife Cathy, Michael J. Cooper and his wife Robin, AnnMarie Albert and her husband Tim, Daniel K. Cooper, William A. Cooper and his wife Donna, Steven L. Dooley and his wife Lisa, Joan Teresa North and her husband Gary, and D. Christopher Cooper and his wife Diane: cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 13. Devoted sister-in-law of Catherine Lithe and her husband Tom, Carol Miller and her husband Dave, and Jeanne Bowersox and her late husband Jeff.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anna's family would especially like to recognize and thank caregivers, Debbie Smith, Maggie Livingston, and Nancy Myers, without whom Anna could not have remained in her home as she wished. We appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts.

Friends and family will honor and celebrate Anna's life at our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 18310 Middletown Road, Parkton Maryland, on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 9:00-12:00 noon. Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 noon.  Interment at a later date at Garrison Forest VA Cemetery. 

In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Anna's name to Franciscan Center, Homeless Outreach at 101 N 23rd Road, Baltimore, MD 21218, or St Jude's Children's Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Nashville, TN 38105.
