Allen Kenneth Kelley

Pat passed away suddenly, at home, on May 27, 2020.  He was 78. 

Beloved life partner of Linda Myers for 46 years, he was the son of Charles K. and Hazel I. Kelley (deceased).

A person of many talents and interests, Pat was a long time faculty member at Essex Community College where he taught Health and Outdoor Education classes and led many student skiing, hiking and camping activities.

An accomplished skier and sailor in his younger years, he was also an enthusiastic Boy Scout who earned the level of Eagle Scout at age 13–one of the youngest to do so.

An Air Force veteran, he served with the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard for 6 Years.

A graduate of Kenwood High School, he earned Bachelors and Masters degrees at Towson University.

Pat is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Norma and Andy McDonald, niece Pamela Shinnick (Richard), nephew Kelley McDonald (Mariana) and 7 great nieces and nephews.  Also very close to Linda’s family , Cecil and Debbie Jones (Ashley, Corey/Jessica), Rhonda and Jack Pitts (Shane), Holly and Scott Wanhoff (Tyler).
