Robert Leroy Gwin

On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Robert Leroy Gwin of Fork, MD passed away at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband for over 70 years to the late Evelyn Amy Gwin; devoted father of Barbara Mears and husband Anson Mears, Sr., And Dr. S. Christine Groves and husband Bishop Dr. Keith Groves; loving grandfather of Bridgett Simon and her husband Pastor Shawn Simon, Kacey Bunch and her husband John Bunch, Anson Mears, Jr., and Tamyra Mech, Sarae Baum and her husband Jared Baum, and Brandon Groves; great-grandfather of Austin Simon, Lance Simon, Madison Simon, Wyatt Bunch, Griffen Simon, and Mackenzie Bunch; dear brother of the late Oriell Gwin, Jr. and his surviving wife Grace Gwin, the late Tom Gwin and his late wife Ginny Gwin, the late Margaret Wilkins and her late husband Johnny Wilkins, the late Viola Foltz and her late husband Tom Foltz, Sr., the late Earl Gwin and his surviving wife Milia Gwin, the late Dolores Plantholt and her late husband Ken Plantholt, surviving brother, Donald Gwin and his late wife Darlene Gwin and surviving brother Charles Gwin and his wife surviving wife Thelma Gwin.

Family and friends will honor & celebrate Mr. Gwin’s life at the Evans Life Celebration home – Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Rts 23 & 24 – Forest Hill) on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9pm, where a funeral service will be held on the following day, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 beginning at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
