Dorothea Darago

On July 11th,2019; Dorothea Darago, of Parkville; loving wife of Albert A. Darago; devoted mother of Albert J. Darago and wife Linell, and Deborah Haynes; caring grandmother of Deborah Ann, Albert and Benjamin; cherished great-grandmother of Alex and Brice; Also survived by many loving family and friends. 

Dorothea was a loving and devoted wife of Albert for "73" years, two years of dating, but they still considered themselves married for 73 years. Dorothea and Albert made a great team and everyone who knows them could see their commitment to each other. Her world revolved around her grand children and great grandchildren. Dorothea enjoyed traveling with her family as well. Her hobbies included writing short stories filled with positivity, and drawing animal sketches, as well as portraits. Dorothea's faith was also an extremely important piece of her life. She will be greatly missed by all!

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Dorothea's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234 on Tuesday, July 16th, from 3-5PM-7-9PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11AM. Internment will follow services at Parkwood Cemetery.
