Donald Charles Hughes

On August 2, 2019, Donald Charles Hughes, 84, of Bel Air, MD passed away. He was the beloved husband of Joan Hughes; devoted father of Cheryl Hughes, Deborah Hipchen, Richard Burnham & his wife Michelle, Donna Brzuchalski and Stacey Hughes; dear brother of the late Dennis Hughes & his surviving wife, Millicent; cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving extended family and friends.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Donald’s life at Evans Life Celebration Home– Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 8:30-9:30AM following by a Funeral Mass that will be held at 10:30AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Historical Church-Hickory, 533 East Jarrettsville Road, Forest Hill, MD 21050.  A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donald’s name may be made to The ALS Association- PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
