On March 11, 2018, Doris C. Gemmell, 95 of Jarrettsville, MD; beloved wife of the late James Gemmell; devoted mother of Gale L. Burkins & her late husband Jeffery and Glenn J. Gemmell & his wife Ruth; cherished grandmother of Trisha Paine & her husband Matt, Kara Portillo & her husband Reinaldo and Jeffery Burkins &his fiancé Robin Hazel; loving great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren

Family and friends will honor Doris’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rt. 23 & Rt. 24), Forest Hill on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM where a funeral liturgy will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris’ name may be made to the Amedisys, Inc.
