On April 4, 2024, Francis X. Gunning, 85 of Bel Air, Maryland; beloved husband of the late Geraldine Gunning; devoted father of Steven Gunning and his wife Bonnie, Amy Griffin and her husband Patrick; loving grandfather of Eric and Luke Griffin, Molly Gunning and the late Joseph Griffin; dear brother of Ann Haire, Thomas Gunning , Kathleen Arle, and the late Marguerite Phelps, Paul Gunning, Evelyn Hartman, Barbara Buchman and Joseph Gunning; also survived by several nieces, nephews , family members and friends.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Francis’s life at Evans Life Celebration Home-Forest Hill, 3 Newport Drive on Wednesday April 10, 2024 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm with a funeral mass at St. Mark Catholic Church (Fallston) on Thursday April 11, 2024 10:00 am. Interment: Holy Rosary Cemetery (Dundalk, Maryland).
