Chip was a wonderful man, and was free with his advice. He helped many members on the gravelyclub website with his humor and knowledge of Gravely Tractors. His knowledge and inspiration will be missed. Someday we will all meet again. Amen

I regret not meeting Chip in person, but we we did trade emails and share posts on the Gravely Club. He was a great mentor to many of us in keeping our Gravelys running. The time and effort he put into his website, collecting all the old manuals and data is priceless to those of us who try and keep our machines running. He's going to be missed by many many people.

Never met Chip in person, but shared an interest in Gravely Tractors. Visited his website frequently for manuals for my equipment and exchanged email messages. Always enjoyed reading his posts to the Gravely group message board and usually learned something. I'm glad he shared his information so freely and many benefited.

Never met 'Chip' but I wish I had. He was a Mentor and Teacher of things Gravely and wise beyond belief. Learned much from him. I wish Peace and Comfort to his loved ones. Sincerest Condolences.

Chip, I will miss you and all the wonderful correspondence back and forth about things in the Gravely world. I hope you are still cutting with an ever sharp reel mower with a Model L that never get a stuck exhaust valve. Your friend, Steve

I worked with Chip at the Catonsville library. He always made me feel like i was doing was important and mattered just as much as what everyone else was doing even if it didn't seem like it to me. He was great to work with. He will be missed by many, so sorry for your loss.

I was very sad to hear the news of Mr Old's passing. I worked at the Catonsville Library for 3 years. In the early ninety's as a CA. He was a very pleasant man and always had a kind word. He will be surely missed. I offer my prayers and condolences to his family. God Bless.
