Bill (William Joseph) Horten & Eric Johnson Ciudad Cortes, Costa Rica June 13, 2012 10:24 PM		We will never forget Bill Parker! He was a lifelong buddy to our dad and Tom Coyle - ever since they were in class together at Blessed Sacrament parish school in the 1940s and Calvert Hall College High School in the early 1950s. (Billy, Tommy, and Billy) They married but all remained close through the many years. Our parents Bill and Carlita Horten were asked to be the godparents for his daughter Kathy - a special honor they always treasured. The Horten children can never remember a major family event without the love and support of our dear friends - the Parkers. Bill Parker was extaordinarily supportive to us when we lost both parents in 2007. He was both nostalgic yet up-to-date in the modern times. Bill and Eric will always remember the visit of the Parkers to San Diego. We will miss his kindness, thoughfulness, encouragment and loyalty but these ultimate virtues of a very good friend will remain with us forever. Hugs to his dear Nancy and Kathy, Mike, Patti, and Tom and all those who were close to him from the Hortens - Bill and Eric, Jo-Ann and Tony, Rick, and Julie and Eric.
