On December 3, 2012, Virginia Belcher Boch, 88, of Bel Air went to be with the Lord. She was born on October 15, 1924 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late William J. and Flora E. (nee Monk) Campbell. Along with her parents she moved to Harford County at the age of 5. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Garland L. Belcher who gave his life for his Country in February 1945; she remained a widow for twenty years and in 1965 married the late Vincent B. Boch. In January 1951 she gave her life to Christ joining Baptist View Church. Many of her neighbors and friends knew her as Miss Ginny, and fondly remember her love of fishing, feeding birds and squirrels, her delicious coconut cream pies, and especially her love of cats. She loved to write and send cards and letters to her family and friends.
She is survived by her son devoted Charles Edward Belcher.
Family and friends will honor Virginia’s life at the family owned and operated Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Rts. 23 & 24 – Forest Hill) on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9, where a funeral will be, Thursday December 6, 2012 beginning at 11 AM with Pastor Fred Wyatt officiating. Interment Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Harry Deaner, Tom Sadler, Dale Blevins, John Ruger, Dole Jones and Bill Quesinberry.
