On July 31, 2012, Norberto "Bert" R. Gertrudes, United States Army Veteran of Parkville; beloved husband of Mary M. Gertrudes nee Knight; devoted stepfather of Michael Knight and wife Sabrina, Jeffrey Knight; cherished grandfather of eight; dear uncle of Bob DeAlmedia and wife Joyce, Susan Holland and husband Thomas; he was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lydia.

Family and friends will honor Bert’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral liturgy will be held 11 AM Monday at St. Ursula Catholic Church.
