On Wednesday, July 25, George “Junior” Steve, age of 80, of Bel Air. Beloved husband for over 55 years of Peggy Ruth Steve; devoted father of Patricia Ann Comes and husband Lawrence, Brian Michael Steve, and Deborah Ruth Bateman and husband Mark; grandfather of Anthony Comes, Kimberly Harrison and husband Gavin, Jonathan Bateman, and Sarah Bateman. Also survived by his brother Vernon Steve and wife Lois. Predeceased by his parents, Cora and George Steve.

Family & friends will gather to honor Mr. Steve’s life on Friday, July 27 at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Rts 23 & 24, Forest Hill) from 5-9. A funeral service will be held on the following day at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Road, in Bel Air, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens.
