Anna Jenkins of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on July 18, 2012 at Gilchrist Hospice Center. Born in Baltimore, MD, she moved to Harford County in 1969 and was married for 61 years to the late William Kent Jenkins, Sr.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her son, William Kent Jenkins, Jr. of Florida; two daughters: Kay Jenkins Castner of Timonium, MD and Terrie Bowman of Abingdon, MD; her long-time friend and companion, Herbert Merritt of Forest Hill, MD, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1100 Philadelphia Road, Joppa, MD 21085
