On June 28, 2012, Mr. Roland William Altenburg, Sr., formerly of Pasadena, passed away at the age of 91. Mr. Altenburg was a proud US Coast Guard, and Navy Reserve veteran serving in WWII, fighting at Normandy. After his honorable discharge he returned home and began working for AT&T as a Milling Machinist where he meet his wife of 40 years Edith Cole Altenburg. Mr. Altenburg is also survived by many relatives and friends.

Family and friends will honor Roland’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Rts. 23 & 24) on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 10 – 12noon at which time a memorial service will begin.
