On June 26, 2012, Fernneta M. Elgin (nee Snyder), of Baltimore; beloved wife of the late Charles H. Elgin; devoted mother of Richard R. Elgin and his wife Patricia, Clifford A. Elgin and his wife Ellie and the late C. Wesley Elgin and Holly M. Upperco; loving grandmother of ten and great grandmother of seventeen.

Family and friends will honor Fernneta’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Monday,  3-5 & 7-9 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 8:00 PM. Interment will be held at Moreland Memorial Park at a later date.  Memorial contributions in Fernneta’s name may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 8701 Cottington Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 or a charity of your choice.
