On June 15, 2012, Norman Marshall Phillips, Jr., of Sparks, beloved husband of Cathy Phillips; devoted father of Duane Phillips and his wife Carol, Deborah Dearstine and her husband Ken, Barbara Passmore and her husband Samuel, Kathleen Linton and her husband Robert, Merry Johnson and her husband Reggie, Kathleen Price and her husband John; dear brother of Tom, Mike, Terry, Patty,Coral, Andrea, and the late Sandy; loving grandfather of six; cherished great grandfather of two. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends will honor Norman’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. – Hereford), 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday.  A memorial service will be held 11AM Wednesday at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, 2015 Mt. Carmel Rd. Parkton, MD 21120. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Norman’s name may be made to Cedar Grove UM Church.
